Chiropractic uses a non-invasive hands-on approach to assess and treat your spine, muscle, joint, and nervous system complaints. Chiropractic care can help to alleviate pain, reduce your risk of injury, and improve your mobility.

Every new chiropractic patient must first book an initial assessment with one of our chiropractors so we can take a thorough health history, review what brought you into the clinic, perform a physical assessment and provide you with treatment (if applicable).

Treatments provided by our chiropractors can include a combination of manual adjustments, muscle release techniques (active release, myofascial release, instrument-assisted), acupuncture, Class IV laser, physiotherapy modalities (Ultrasound, IFC) and/or rehabilitative exercises.

Adam holds post-secondary diplomas in Health, Wellness & Fitness, Physiotherapy Assistance, Manual Osteopathy, and Massage Therapy. He also holds a variety of continuing education certificates, including Contemporary Medical Acupuncture, Sports Conditioning Instruction, and Sports Nutrition, among others.

Originally from Hamilton, Ontario, Adam has nearly a decade of experience in the health industry, be it as a personal trainer, bootcamp instructor, kickboxing coach, physiotherapy assistant, or manual therapist. Specializing in therapeutic care, Adam’s focus is primarily in orthopedics, such as joint injuries, scar care, and chronic dysfunctions. Education is a large part of Adam’s treatments, and he enjoys answering all questions relating to his patients’ injuries. He is particularly excited to develop his skills alongside the next-level therapists at Corunna Chiropractic.

When he is not practicing, Adam enjoys woodworking, playing guitar, cooking, and boxing/kickboxing.

Dr. McTavish graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and University of Western Ontario with a Master’s degree in Biochemistry.

During her academic studies, she was actively involved in varsity rugby and recreational speed skating. Along the way she’s incurred several sports injuries and with many years of working alongside chiropractors in the rehabilitation process she changed her focus to chiropractic. In 2021, she graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College as a Doctor of Chiropractic.

After finishing her education, Dr. McTavish moved back to her hometown of Petrolia and took over ownership of Corunna Chiropractic & Massage. Following over 20 years of serving Corunna and St. Clair county, Dr. McTavish is excited to continue providing chiropractic care to the community.

Dr. McTavish is a huge advocate of an active lifestyle and is passionate about helping others return to activity and push themselves to new levels of strength and function. She uses soft tissue therapy, acupuncture, manipulation and exercise prescription to help in the rehabilitation process of sports related injuries, and chronic and repetitive strain injuries of the spine and extremities.
